2. Remove minor dents.
Your vehicle will inevitably sustain minor damage from a neighboring car door hitting it or a rock flying into the body of the car while you are driving. These minor dents can not only be unsightly, but they can serve as a starting point for rust and other forms of damage.
Removing minor dents yourself is simple when you have the right tools. All you need is a hair dryer and a can of compressed air. Heat the dented area with the hair dryer, then immediately spray the dent with the compressed air. 3. Replace a faulty fuse.
Many of the accessories within your vehicle are powered by fuses. These fuses are responsible for regulating the electricity needed to power your car's stereo, interior lights, and even your car's horn. If you notice that some of your accessories aren't working properly, check the fuses for signs of damage.
Just remove the cover of the fuse box, use the printed guide to locate the fuse associated with the malfunctioning accessory, then pull the old fuse out. Insert a new fuse with the same identifying number as the old fuse if the wire in the old fuse is broken.
